Share My Voice!
At The Corina Mae Foundation, our work is shaped by one guiding belief: we cannot create meaningful change in Alabama without understanding the real experiences of disabled individuals and families across our state. Today, we’re launching a new tool to help us do exactly that — the Share My Voice community insight form.
This form is now available on every page of our website through a small purple button in the bottom‑right corner. With one click, you can answer a few short questions that help us understand where our focus areas need to be.
Why We Created This Form
Alabama’s disability community faces challenges that are often invisible in statewide data. Resources vary dramatically from county to county. Access to medical care is inconsistent. ADA compliance is uneven. And too often, disabled voices are left out of conversations about what needs to change.
The Share My Voice form helps us gather the information we need to:
-
Identify gaps in disability resources
-
Understand barriers to medical care
-
Track ADA compliance concerns
-
Recognize patterns across counties and regions
-
Prioritize where our advocacy and support should go next
Your responses give us the clarity we need to focus our efforts where they will make the greatest impact.
What the Form Asks
The form is intentionally simple and quick to complete. We ask about:
-
Which disability resources are missing or unavailable in your community
-
How easy or difficult it is to access proper medical care
-
Whether ADA laws are being followed where you live
These questions help us build a clearer picture of the real‑world challenges disabled Alabamians face every day.
Why It Appears on Every Page
We want this form to be accessible whenever you’re ready to share your insight — not hidden behind menus or buried on a single page. By placing the Share My Voice button across the entire site, we’re making it easy for you to contribute at any moment.
This isn’t a survey you fill out once. It’s an ongoing tool that helps us stay connected to the needs of our community.
How Your Responses Shape Our Work
Every answer helps us:
-
Direct our advocacy toward the most urgent issues
-
Build programs that reflect real community needs
-
Strengthen our understanding of county‑by‑county challenges
-
Support disabled Alabamians with accuracy and intention
Your insight doesn’t just inform us — it guides the future of our foundation.
