Together, We Can Keep Their Doors Open
For 29 years, TESA Temporary Emergency Services of Arab and Second Chance Thrift Shop, ministries of Marshall County Christian Services (MCCS) - have been a steady source of hope for families across Marshall County. Their work has always been rooted in partnership: local churches, industries, and neighbors coming together to care for one another.
Today, they’re facing a challenge unlike anything seen in nearly three decades.
💜 A Ministry at Its Lowest Point
In the past three months, sales at both thrift stores have dropped sharply. These stores aren’t just places to shop - they are the financial foundation that keeps MCCS’s ministry center operating. Right now, they are barely covering overhead, and Director Linda Henry shares that this is the lowest she has seen in 29 years of service.
This is a moment for community to step in.
💜 How You Can Support MCCS
If you’re able, please consider helping in one of these ways:
-
Shop at their thrift stores
-
Pray for their team and the families they serve
-
Donate directly to MCCS
Every purchase, prayer, and donation helps keep their doors open and their mission alive.
