Today marks an important milestone for The Corina Mae Foundation as we prepare for our very first senior center visit. With that visit, we will officially open the door to our Seniors Program - a dedicated space created for seniors we meet through our outreach efforts across Alabama.

The Seniors Program was built with one purpose: to make sure seniors feel supported, included, and understood.

Over the past months, we’ve listened, planned, and created resources designed to help seniors navigate the programs available to them. Now, as we begin visiting senior centers, we’re excited to bring those resources directly to the people who need them most.

What the Seniors Program Offers

  • Easy‑to‑understand resource guides

  • Navigation and support packets

  • County‑based aging office directories

  • A place to ask questions and get guidance

  • Occasional updates and helpful information

  • A welcoming space created just for the seniors we meet

Access to the Seniors Program is reserved for seniors from the centers we visit. This keeps the program personal, meaningful, and connected to real conversations happening inside Alabama’s senior communities.

Why This Matters

Many seniors struggle to find clear information about the support available to them. Others feel overlooked or unsure where to turn. Our goal is to change that - one center at a time, one conversation at a time.

As we prepare for our first visit, we want seniors to know this:

You matter. Your needs matter. Your voice matters.

This program is for you, and we’re honored to begin this journey together.

More updates will be shared soon as we begin our outreach visits. Thank you for being part of the very beginning of the Seniors Program.
